Robert Irwin(Erwin) who married Mary Means and passed in Guilford County, NC is not the same Gen Robert Irwin who passed in Mecklenburg Co. Gen Robert Irwin was a signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. Robert Erwin's willed is dated in 1796 in Guilford Co and I have read that Gen Irwin was buried in a cemetery in Charlotte, NC which is in Meck Co. Robert of Guilford Co is my grandfather. I have very little information about him other that his descendants and wife. If anyone has relevant information I would appreciate you reaching out. Thank you
