Thomas Edward Wethered, Sr 1855-1936

Hello Wethered Family Descendants,

I am seeking information on the parents and grandparents (and any other branches of their children) for Thomas Edward Wethered Sr. 1855-1936 who was married to Ellen Jane Walliing Sept 24, 1850 - February 1936.

From what I know is Thomas E Wethered Sr had a son, Thomas Edward Wethered, Jr who had a son, Melvin N Wethered Sr. Mel Sr's son, Mel Jr is my husband Mike Thomas Wethered. We have two sons Timothy Allan Wethered and Johnathon Thomas Wethered.

I am attempting to build the tree for my boys. I have been lucky enough to purchase #186 of 700 of the Wethered Book by Brandon Barringer and L Wetherd Barroll. My father in law gave us a rough copy of The James Sykes Wethered 1898 publication, and an old rough copy of the Burkes Landed Gentry pages that list Wethered lines.

I am unable so far to link Thomas Edward Wethered Sr to his parents and further back.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

We have a letter written by Thomas E Wethered about his mother's little doll dresser that her uncle John Aumack handcrafted for her and she kept for 80 years then handed it down to Thomas Jr. Thomas Jr handed it down to his son Mel in 1957. Ellen Jane Wethered requested the Wethered family to keep the little dresser moving through the Wethered boys for 200 years more and I want to put the Wethered genealogy in the little dresser along with the publications I currently possess for future generations.
