Can anyone assist me with any information regarding my ancestor, the Adjutant Officer Miguel del Castillo de Zayas/ Miguel de Zayas del Castillo, who held that military position during the 1690s - early 1700s in San German and Ponce, Puerto Rico. I believe he was a relative of Mateo del Castillo de Zayas/Mateo de Zayas del Castillo who was the Sergeant Major and later Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico, during the 1690s - early 1700s.
