Hi, as I have noted in the discussion under the Joshua who is Mary (Parker) Merritt's father, I found out last night there are two Joshua Parkers, one in Massachusetts and one in New York. Mary (Boynton) Parker is married to the Massachusetts one, and is not the mother of Mary (Parker) Merritt, whose father is the New York one. The MA family does have a daughter named Mary, but she was born on Nov 3 1769.

I think Mary (Boynton) Parker should be disconnected from Mary (Parker) Merritt's tree. Sorry!

Here is the first clue I had that the Massachusetts Parkers were not connected to the New York Parkers - see the LifeSketch in this profile: https://www.myheritage.com/research/record-40001-996828841/mary-par...

Also, as noted by Geni, the birthdates of both this Mary Boynton, and her husband the Massachusetts Joshua Parker, are inconsistent with a daughter who has Mary (Parker) Merritt's birthdate.
