This is my great-great-grandmother's profile. The version I created was merged with a version created by Balázs Déri. The version from Balázs Déri says her husband was Ignaz Engelhardt rather than Ignatz Engel. I am confused by this and wrote to Balázs Déri about a week ago to ask. Every record I have of Ignatz and his father Bernat (as opposed to Balázs Déri's version, Bernhard) says their surname was Engel. This includes records from Miskolc of the marriage of Ignatz and Ester, the Miskolc record Bernat's death, and records of Ignatz and Esther after they immigrated to New York. There are similar differences in many names which seem to correspond. My profiles have sources attached; I haven't been able to find any sources which support Balázs Déri's Engelhardt and Wohlstadter profiles. I would *love* to know the sources for those - and ideally resolve the differences - as those other profiles go farther back by a few generations and much farther out with more distant relations.
