have just obtained the baptism record of Louisa Johns who married Henry Huxham. She was baptised Louisa Lome Bates Johns in Jersey in 1841 the daughter of William and Mary.
However the godmother was noted as Louisa Lome Bates but I cant see any connection between the Bates and Johns families
