Hi all, my name is Sammy Lerner and my paternal great-great-grandfather was from Narol Poland. His name was Abraham Reizfeld, and all that we really knew about him was that he was the head of the Kultzgeminder (Jewish Comunity) in Narol.
However, then I came across a person named Linda Habenstreit on JewishGen saying that she found out that her grandfather's (Refuel Habenstreit's) godfather was Abraham Reizenfeld or Reitzfeld. Then she mentioned that he was a tavern keeper in Narol.
We think that Abraham is related via Refuel's mom's side because her name was Paje Reizenfeld/Reitzfeld.
Does any of this sound familiar to anybody? It's great that there is a project on Geni for a Shtetl that was under 1,000 people!
