I am most interested in his life story, his education, was he a Rabbi? i hear he was perhaps an old testament scholar and was a Rabbi before he came to Chicago. I found an old publication that lists him was a Chicago Rabbi. If so what synagogues was he affiliated with? He was my mom's grandfather and she remembers walking to the shore of Lake Michigan in Chicago with him. One of his other granddaughters is still living and she remembers that they lived very,very near her so that her father,his son, could look in on he and Grandma. Yet another grandson of his is living as well. All three of his grandchildren are in their 90's.
