Charles Fairman was a Sailor / Whaler on the L’Agile a whaling ship from England , he was shipwrecked at Tonga in the south seas then brought with surviving sailors ( 31 ) to Port Jackson
Australia in 1830 on the Barque Tranmere.
He worked at Twofold Bay NSW and then married Anna ( previous Ellen ) Power in Sydney 1843 .
They brought up their families in Pambula , Wolumla , Candelo , Bega NSW
He later died 1889 at Tantawanglo NSW
