Is there substantiating evidence for these parents? Geni has Benjamin Jones of Woodbridge & Betsey Jones without citations.

Not primary sources, but hints -

Based on that I added another mother and wife of Benjamin Jones.
(Just to add to the confusion!)

"His (Charles [Sallier] Salyer) whereabouts prior to 1693 and after 1732 are unknown. There is nothing in any record thus far located to justify even an approximation of his birth and death dates. His wife in 1693 was Mary Jones. Their marriage record has not been found but deeds prove that Mary was a daughter of Benjamin Jones of Woodbridge, NJ, and also indicate that perhaps Charles Sallier had been previously married. Between 1693 and 1697 Charles Sallier and his wife Mary Jones had three children whose births were recorded in Woodbridge, NJ Town Books: Benjamin Sallier, 4 Dec 1693, Mary Sallier 17 Oct 1695, Charles Sallier 23 Dec 1697. A Charles Sallier, possible the son born in 1697, served in the Woodbridge Militia in 1715"
(Not sure what deed this is referring to.)

"Banjamin Jones of Woodbridge to Richard Gibson of the same place, for one half of three score acres, bo't of Wm. Alger on the North side of and adjoining grantor's son-in-law Charles Sallier, said half being bounded S.E. by said Sallier."

According to wikitree https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Alger-482, William Alger was the brother of Mary Alger Jones, whose husband Benjamin Jones was the brother of Mary Jones Salyer. Another connection.

In all of my searching, I have yet to even see the name of Betsey McMullen anywhere. In FamilySearch, some trees have Hannah Spencer and some have Hannah Harnett.

Let’s work on Benjamin Jones of Woodbridge & Johanna Jones

The locations are right.

Frederick C. Hart, Jr., "A Proposed Family for Thomas Jones of Fairfield, Connecticut, and Huntington Rhode Island". The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record. (April 1997): 105.

Benjamin Jones, of Waterbury and Hannah Spencer both died in Connecticut, while Mary was born and died in NJ.

Benjamin of Waterbury died in 1692, while the deed showing Benjamin, father-in-law of Charles Sallier, buying land in NJ Dec.18, 1697. So I would rule out Benjamin of Waterbury and Hannah Spencer as her parents.

I agree with Benjamin Jones of Woodbridge and Johanna Jones as her parents. I have no idea who Betsy McMullen could be.

Done.

I think we’re missing more Woodbridge family:
