Bridget Mary Nichols, Convict "Providence" 1821 1803-1854 and John Nichols, Free Settler "Ocean" 1804 (1802-1870) are on Geni with the following children

* 1831 Frances Louisa Luckman
* 1833 Joseph William Nichols, Infant died 1895
* 1838 Joseph Nichols died 1895
* 1840 George Edward Nichols
* 1842 John Nichols
* ? Melmer Davies

Queries
* daughter Mary Ann has that she was born in England but her parents married in Tasmania Australia
* there are 2 sons called Joseph both alive at the same time
* she has a child with a different surname Melmer Davies - what is the source for this child
* daughter Frances died young but married Reuben Luckman

Hi Private User, sources are all shown within the specific events

Mary Ann Holland, Convict "Garland Grove" 1842 if born in England 1825-1832 can't be the child of Bridget and John as 1) John was in Australia from 1803 and 2) their daughter Mary Ann was born in 1833 in Australia.

There appears to have been multiple Tasmanian Mary Ann NICHOLS who have become confused in some peoples research.

1) Mary Ann Holland, Convict "Garland Grove" 1842 who married Henry HOLLAND
2) Mary Ann Westerway who married William WESTERWAY
3) Mary Ann Nichols who married George NICHOLS
4) Mary Ann Nichols who married George Edward NICHOLS

How did a DNA Marker end up on this profile, just asking as i have limited knowledge,

As far as i know for certain, DBA is the markers for a specific person, whome you may share Half of the dna with, if it is a parent, Also this is far up the tree so whos DNA is it?
