Abner was not the son of Martha Patty Harris 1749-1823 who was the documented wife of John Baker 1745-1816 in Warren Co., GA, This Martha Harris Baker was still living in Warren Co., GA when this John Baker wrote his will in 1819 in Greene Co., GA that does not name or mention any living wife. These two different John Baker families have been confused, combined and messed with by false DAR and SAR Applications that add other children, The Family Bible of the John Baker d1816 and his wife Martha Harris d1823 has been verified by the LDS who have sealed their eight children to their parents. These are the same exact eight children that are listed in both of their 1816 and 1823 Warren Co., GA Wiils none of which contain a son named Abner or Silas as the 1821 of John Baker in Greene does.

Disconnected Abner Baker from Patty Harris, and linked to hopefully correct parents - Martha Baker & John Baker.

Where did you come up with the surname of Martha Dennis for the wife of John Baker d1816 in Warren? Her name has always been documented as Martha Harris in LDS sealing records since the 1930's and DAR records since the 1940's.

Martha Dennis as the wife of the other John Baker, and mother of Abner. Different family from Martha Harris.

@same question, different spouse. Where did you find a name of Martha Dennis as the wife of John Baker d1821 in Greene GA when no wife is named in his 1819 Will?

I don’t find anything. It was added to geni by Shelby Jackson
