There is documented info on Adam Link's life, to include him joiningbthe Army at age 16, after the scalping of his father, John. There is debate whether Adam's mother was also scalped or if she left for Baltimore to live with family. There is mention of two of John's son went to the fort after the scalping of his father and the burning of their home. But not mention of other children. Coukd have been other children older than Adam that moved away and set up their own families but nothing after. So it is impossible for the date of death to be correct or this is not the father of Adam Link.
