Erica Howton I looked closer at some of the records. I'll try and look more later.

For Dr. Anthony Samuel Gugino, Jr. there is a birth record for an Antonio Gugino born that day. I added his Italian name Antonio, but then noticed that the English "Jr" suffix bleeds through. (Also a little interesting that his birth record says Antonio but his father's says Antonino).

Oh cool you got it back a couple more generations. Nice.

Carla’s paternal grandparents were Anthony S. Gugino and Emojane/Emojean/Emogena/Emmegine Ursitti (the daughter of Gerardo/Girardo “George” W./M. Ursitti and Nunzia/Nuncia “Minnie” T. D. Rubio/Di Rubis). Anthony was born in Valledolmo, Città Metropolitana di Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Emojane was born in New York, to Italian parents.
