There are a number of books written about the Jewish gangsters. Here are some for reference, although I've only read one of them: (I had no idea there are so many books on the subject!)
The Rise and Fall of the Jewish Gangster in America
The Chronicles of The Last Jewish Gangster: From Meyer to Myron
The Kosher Capones: A History of Chicago’s Jewish Gangsters
The Brownsville Boys: Jewish Gangsters of Murder, Inc.,
But He Was Good to His Mother: The Lives and Crimes of Jewish Gangsters
Tough Jews: Fathers, Sons, and Gangster Dreams [This one I read and recommend]
And an article: "Gangsters for Zion, Yom Ha’atzmaut: How Jewish mobsters helped Israel gain its independence", By Robert Rockaway. Tablet Magazine, April 19, 2018. <https://www.tabletmag.com/jewish-arts-and-culture/260133/gangsters-...;
