I am not sure how this happened but Archibald Gibson is listed as his father and his son.

I can not figure out how to fix this. Archibald married Frances Crissenberry. They are listed correctly as husband and wife but for some reason he is listed as his own son also. He did have a son named Archibald Mitchell and he is in the tree and his profile is ok. I would like to fix this as Archibald's parents are actually George Gibson and Elizabeth Gowen. Any help would be great

Crystal Ann England I think I have fixed it. Please check that all is in order. I cut the connection between Archibald and his father/himself and then merged the duplicate profiles together.

Another solution for this case, since we only had two profiles with the wrong information, you could have overwritten their information with the correct names and dates and the tree would have been OK.

Tamás Flinn Caldwell-Gilbert thank you so much it is fixed. Thanks for the tip on what to do if it happens again. Sadly I have lots of people who have family names and they get confused.
