Through DNA I have connected with a woman that looks to be a first or second cousin. Together we have narrowed it down to who appears to be the grandparents. It is a bigger mess in my line as I have an uncle that had four boys according to his youngest sister, two with one woman and two with another. We do know that the first two were put up for adoption and my uncle's oldest sister adopted one of the two, the second boy and both of the boys with other woman we don't know their whereabouts.
To my knowledge all of the adoptions on my side were done in Nebraska, the woman was adopted in 1968 in Minneapolis, through Lutheran Services.

Hi Roger Jacobs, my name is Renee and my partner is also a relative of yours through Cooper, Kew, Reardon side of family. Hello from New Zealand.

Hi Renee, glad to meet you.

Have another addition to the hunt thanks to DNA, her name is Jessica her mother is Frances. We believe Frances is the daughter of the second brother who was adopted through an agency one source says to a couple in western Nebraska. My aunt says both boys were born in Kansas while her brother was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas during WWII, Frances' father was born in Beloit, Kansas

Have an update to the original. We have an addition to the family named Kenny. His DNA numbers are high enough with Jennifer (first one) to be a half-sibling and also with Jessica. Both Frances (Jessica's mom) and Kenny knew the name of their dad and that he had been adopted.
We still need to find Jennifer's bio mom but this has been rewarding to say the least, I've got messages from them telling me they've all been chatting, texting and messaging one another constantly.
