It was pointed out to me by a genealogist for the DAR that Jesse Bryan could not be Jonathan’s father. Apparently, he died young, producing no heirs. The genealogist indicated that Phoebe Morris married Joseph Bryan and moved West. I can’t find any records of that marriage or any children from that marriage. Is there anyone with any records that can be matched to that time frame?
