Greetings

My name is Bernard Wonder, great, great grandson of Aaron Moses Wander. Aaron, as far as I know, lived in Brest Litovsk, Belarus, although at various points in time Brest Litovsk was in Poland and the Russian Empire. Aaron's son, Benjamin, moved to England in the early 1890s where my grandfather, Theobald and my father (Saul Moss) were born. In the 1950s, the Wonder family moved to Australia.

I am interested to hear from any researchers who are able to assist my ancestry work. In exchange, I am prepared to share what info I have with anyone who can help.

Hi Bernard, was there a clear point when selling changed from Wander to Wonder or did it veer back and forward for a period?

Thanks Alex. Yes, I think there was a clear point, although I don't know exactly when it was. I suspect my great grandfather changed his name from Wander to Wander in the early 1890s, shortly after or possibly before the family arrived in London..
