Just obtained a copy of this super neat and quite impressive family tree that goes back to Vienna in the 1500s. I'm unable to follow it or find my great grandmother (my dad's mom's mom) who was Rosa Bluttreich. I see a couple of Rosa's. I also see Abisch Bluttreich but can't figure out where he comes into play and fits into the story.

I believe the Mordechai Auerbach on the top is this one:
R' Mordecai Auerbach, A.B.D. Bomberg and Kremenets

Yes I am aware that these are often inaccurate. However the top at least appears to be correct according to geni searches. I get super confused as it goes towards the bottom though. There are lines that don't connect to other lines. The ones that are connected are complicated to figure out.

My question isn't about accuracy (I can't even determine that if I can't read it). But rather how to read and decipher/decode such a massive and detailed tree. The copy I have is 36" long and as you can see in the first picture takes up half the dining room table.

Here is a link to the album with pictures of the tree:
https://www.geni.com/photo/album/6000000122231864853?album_id=60000...

What I get when I click on the link is "Error / You don't have permission to view this item."

Do not know if Curators can see it or not.

I actually don't know how to check or change the settings. I don't see where to change it.

My guess - the only way would be to tag it to a Public Profile - which would then let the whole wide world see it. If you are willing, then possibly tag it to the furthest back ancestor on the Tree (your photo, so you can Tag it to people - and untag it - as you choose).
Not sure if, after doing that, we would need a new link or not.

I actually was able to go to account settings and click my photos and change privacy to public. Are you able to try again?

I still get the same error

I think because I didn't tag myself as suggested above. It should be on my profile

Same error -- you are not in my family group, you are living so your profile is private - those two combined would make it so would not expect tagging it to you would mean I could see it -- and I cannot.

Have now gone to my Photos -- do not see anything about Photo Privacy.
Have gone to Account Settings - and see I can make my Profile Photo Public - but that seems to be about it. If that is what you did, we probably have to give it at least a few hours, tho not sure it would let us click on it to see it bigger.

Where do you see being able to click your photos and change privacy of your photos to public?

Under account settings is privacy settings. And it has a list of items you can change the settings to. Birthplace, about, personal info, photos of me, videos of me, timeline... And you can control what of those is private or public. I made photos of me public. Then I went to each of the photos in that album and tagged myself in them.

Right - it has both "Profile Photo" and "Photos of Me" - I had missed the second of those two. Thank you.

Link still gets the Error Message. BUT - if click on your name in blue above, to go to your profile, and click on Media, can see those photos now. Am basically out of time, but will try to look for a bit now or tomorrow.

Definitely different from any other "Family Tree" I have seen.
Will be interested to see explanations folks give on how to read and/or interpret it.

Again - for anyone wanting to see them -- go to Sara's profile and click on the Media Tab.

Sara Dawn Schwedelson, just sent you a private message.

Many thanks and help from Michael Tabacinic for reading and deciphering the tree.

Here's my comprehension so far:

Rosa Bluttreich's mother was Pajka who was the daughter of Chawa and Uscher Stern

Uscher Stern was the son of Pajka and Israel Feibisch Stern.

Pajka Stern was the daughter of Moshe Abraham Abisch Ber

Moshe was the son of Isak Ber Margules

Isak Ber Margules was the son of Shtaintze and Hersch Margules

Shtaintze was the daughter of Mordechai Auerbach

Her brother Arye Leibisch Auerbach apparently is a Rebbe in his own right and has many Chassidic dynasties that come from him.

I don't know that they were "famous" but they were definitely learned and we'll respected people. The Hebrew underneath their names is seforim (books) that they wrote.

Then on the patrilineal side, Israel Feibisch Stern was the son of Deborah and Hirsch Stern.

Deborah Stern was the daughter of Meir Scheiner, apparently it appears he was also a learned Rebbe too as he has a Hebrew book underneath his name.

Meir Scheiner was the son of Hinda and Ephraim Lwisch. I don't really know about that part of the top.

Presumably his children are Jona Jaffa and Elojim Getzel.

Elojim Getzel was the father of Ephraim.

Is that right? This is incredible and so cool!!!!
