Some sources have him In Scotland. I cannot add him to Edmund and Elizabeth as they were much too old to be his parents. I think there may be a missing generation. A David was born to Edmund mentioned in his will

This family moved to Nash County, North Carolina, and then to Whitley County, Kentucky, as did Ballentine's and Barsheba's respective siblings, Robert Creekmore and his wife Elizabeth (Barsheba's sister).
