I am running into that kind of problem a lot lately. Sometimes I try to fix it; sometimes I just shake my head it is so messed up.

I found one yesterday married to his wife and his mother in law.

i have dates for him 1200-1248 which fits with his brother Walter. obviously 1200 is an estimate. this is entered correctly on the profile for Earl William Sutherland.

clearly, the descent is in error.

break what is broken, but i can see what happened there.

William Douglas is showing a wife Margaret Kersdale, who would fit as the sister of Hugh Freskin de Moravia. i am ready to submit the edit so this gets done.

the existence of a Freskin Douglas tends to suggest a descent from Freskin the Fleming.
