There was another book entitled "the Gilbert Narrative" which I read as a
teenager. It was in the possession of a Betty Gilbert, a very
distant cousin. It told of the name of the ship the Gilberts
arrived in, and if my memory is at all a working entity, they
arrived @ 1683. There were other facts which now elude. And what became of the book and its owner is also a mystery.
