Hannah Schultz - Unable To Resolve Duplicates

I created duplicates for Hannah Schultz (Johanna Schultz) and others when I moved her father’s profile to complete a family cycle. I have tried moving the duplicate profiles over each other, but the duplicates apparently cannot be resolved that way.

I don't see any issues now, may have been a delay in the merge.

Hmm - The duplicates seemed to have disappeared. Here is a question. When I complete a merger, the duplicates are flagged by a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. When, as here, however, I move a profile to complete a cycle, the duplicates appear with a x2 note instead. Is there a difference in how they can be resolved?

x2 aren't duplicates. They are the same profile, but are shown on the tree twice since they hold two places in the tree from certain view points.

Thanks. That is why when I mistakenly tried to merge them as duplicates, I could not do it. The mysteries of geni slowly revealed.
