The death occurred suddenly yesterday afternoon at his residence, 35 Pye-street, Bathurst, of Mr Francis Foley. At about 1 o'clock the deceased had a paralytic seizure, and notwithstanding the efforts of the medical man who was immediately summoned, death took place at about 4 o'clock. Mr Foley (who was well known in the Oberon district, from whence he came to Bathurst to take up his residence some 12 years ago) leaves a widow and six children to mourn his loss. The funeral will leave 35 Pye-street at 3 p.m to-morrow afternoon.
The matter was reported to the Coroner (Mr T C K McKell, P M), who dispensed with an enquiry, as Dr W Prichard Bassett,
who has been attending the deceased, gave
a certificate of death.
