Rose Wadsworth was married to Hugh Black and lived in Cumnock Scotland. She had a son Hugh, who died as an infant a second son Hugh Black who emigrated to Australia, a son Gerald Black who lived in Edinburgh a son Harold who was my father and lived in Ayr. My grandmother Rose returned to Leicester area to her family taking my father Harold with her. I believe the marriage broke down. My father was returned to Scotland where he grew up with his father, step mother and step brother and sister. I would love to hear from anyone who could tell me more about my grandmother Rose. Frederick Timpson and his wife Val used to visit us in Ayr when we were young children but I never knew the significance of the closeness of my Dad to them. I now believe Frederick was my Dad's only contact with his mother's family which meant a lot to him. I wish I could turn the clock back and find out more about what happened to Rose when she returned to Leicester
