All, I have reread "The American Springers" posted in the sources tab here. It very clearly gives enough proof that Dorothy's parents were not Jacob Springer and Phebe Hiobe. Additionally, it clearly lays out the most likely father is a Hudson Springer, son of Dennis Springer and Mary Hudson on New London, Connecticut. I am updating this profile to reflect this. If someone has newer or additional information that conflicts with the source, let me know and I can change the profile back.
