Suggestion to use a US Portal.

Hi There,

I am confused as to why somebody sent me a message suggesting that I use the US Portal.

While I am a Canadian, living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I wonder why I should use this US Portal while wintering in the southern US.

It's annoying yes, - when on travel to another country and you log on Geni. Even moer extremely annoying if the country portal is in a language you don't understand.

It is the location of your IP address that gives you that suggestion.

Geni should remember that you already have made a choice of country portal and never ask again.

People who have made that choice would usually have the knowledge to change it manually later on.

Mike Stangel - could you put that on your to-do list?

You got that you got it yourself when in Norway and i suggested then to make that change.
