Correcting Richard Denton, Junior's Profile.
There is a great deal of conflicting information on the internet and elsewhere about Richard Denton, Junior.
Geni shows Richard Denton, Junior's birthdate as "before circa 1629" and his birthplace as "Bolton, Lancashire, England."
The Online Parish Clerks' baptism records for Bolton (which included Turton), Lancashire between 1611 and 1635 appear to be very complete, but they do not show a baptism for Richard Junior. They do, however, show the baptisms for his brothers Tymothie (23 July 1627) and Nathaniel (9 March 1629; Gregorian date). Those records do not show any other Denton baptisms between 1611 and 1635. Based on the known dates in Rev. Denton's life, I cannot see any time slot for Richard Junior's birth before about 1640.

• 1626 Jan 27 - posted to Turton after this date (death of prior priest, Gilbert Astley)
• 1626 October - Rev. Denton married by this date (9 months before Tymothie's birth)
• 1627 23 July - Tymothie baptised at Turton, Lancashire
• 1629 March 9 - Nathaniell Denton baptised at Turton, Lancashire (Gregorian date)
• 1631 May 29 - Samuel baptised at Coley
• 1631 Jul 28 - Tymothie died at Coley
• 1632 July 10 - Daniel baptised at Coley
• 1634 Nov 30 - Phoebe baptised at Coley
• 1637 Jan 6 - Peter baptised at Coley/Hipperholme (Gregorian date)
• 1637 June 5 - Peter died at Coley
• 1638 June 21 - Mary baptised at Hipperholme (near Coley)
• 1640 April 10 - Rev. Denton received a deed for 15 acres of land in Wethersfield
• 1644 - Rev. Denton and his sons received Hempstead land allotments
• 1647 - Hempstead allotment list recorded and was the first document to mention Richard, Junior
I think the timing of other events in Rev. Denton's life, the few pieces of hard evidence available and the circumstantial evidence support the likely birth of Richard Junior in Hempstead, N.Y. c.1640. I also think it would be preferable to use that information for his profile rather than Bolton c.1629.
