What is the story behind the Lövenberg name? There does not seem to be any ancestory connection. Did he just change it? Does anyone have the story?

I would guess it was his soldier name.

No, he was a tailor. Already as tailor apprentice or journeyman he took the name Löfvenberg.

Wow, this is so interesting. What is exact spelling or word in Swedish that points to the tailor trade? I'm not finding anything in the translator that helps. There are many family names in English that point to the trade or skill on an ancestor.

OK, Lövenberg - lion mountain, sounded like a typical Swedish soldier name, so that is why I assumed it.
