Schulte (Bonner Juden) states that Betty was a daughter of Marcus's uncle Jacob Herz Wallich and "Sara Joseph", which seems to be a conflation of the names of Jakob Herz's wives Sarle Markus Cahn and Sophie Sibille Herz Joseph. That would make Marcus and Betty first cousins, and it would confirm Betty's maiden name as Wallich. But he doesn't include Betty in the Wallich II table the note refers to. There are many errors in Schulte, but most of what he writes is confirmed by available records. Is this?
