Can you please explain what is happening here?

Sven Magnusson Store is not a documented link between the Aspenäs and Store families.
He is replaced by Sven Store with unknown ancestry.

See https://www.adelsvapen.com/genealogi/Store_nr_79

Thanks Bo-Arne, there are some persons missing still from Store family in Geni. It would be so much easier if people would not mess with medieval trees without starting discussion and asking curators help. Now my line to Magnus Knutsson (Aspenäs) is ok again.

Saga, you should be careful using roskildehistorie.dk as a source, it has a lot of errors.

Remi Trygve Pedersen yep, that is exactly what I asked from Bo-Arne if that site is ok or not? He told me same as you. I believe you. There seem to be different opinions about it.

For me this case was more about the matter of starting discussion before cutting medieval trees, specially when there is no curator involved, there has been big mess happening lately because of not doing so.

The thing here is that people do not start discussions before snatching people out and then just leaving rest of the tree a mess. They do not ask curators help with medieval trees - they react, make cuts. Now Bo-Arne had to make a lot of work to make it right after I started discussion, so thanks to him, this part seems to be ok now.

When Danish royal trees were messed up totally by new user of Geni, I send several "help"- messages through out Geni. This person messed several trees, took out just the father, or mother, - just snatched them out, leaving the tree behind - several lines cut, just because she used roskildehistorie.dk as source.

Only one curator answered to my private message "that it is better that someone does "something" then nobody does nothing", even if the source is roskildehistory.dk, so it seems Denmark does not have specialist for medieval trees.

Those trees are still a big mess and connected also to these swedish lines. Discussion is here and your help is really needed Remy, please check this https://www.geni.com/discussions/202573

I will look into it, Saga. But it looks like being a big mess and will take some time.

If you want to help, I suggest using Finn Holbeks site: https://finnholbek.dk/index.php He has added almost most of Dansk Adels Aarbog (DAA) to his site, and I find his site most trustworthy.

roskildehistorie.dk is a schoolproject startet a few years ago by the pupils in 8th-9th grade in elementary school, mostly using DAA before 1880 as their source, and the volumes of DAA before 1925 are not to be trusted. So please, just don't use roskildehistore.dk as a sourse to our ancestry at all, to many errors.

I’ve done a lot of research and between all of these sources - Magnus Knutsson (Aspenäs) married Helga Bengtsdotter (winged arrow) not Helga Bengtsdotter Boberg and they didn’t have a son named Sven Magnusson Store. If you have a reliable source that tells us otherwise please post it her in this discussion.

The problem is not that. The tree is all ok right now, because Bo-Arne made a lot of work, after you cut only "one" person out and left bigger family lines a bit of a mess.

It is important to start discussion when you are planning to make a cut to medieval tree, that part is to be discussed with curators and opening discussion. There has been big problems after people work on their own and leave huge mess behind - when you make a cut, please do the after work also. Thank you.
