If we could get a descendant or two, who has Anna Coleman as a direct female line ancestor, to take an MtDNA test, it would be a good start towards finding out if she was indeed an Indian. My autosomal test, when put through some of the GedMatch programs, does show Kennewick Man, Clovis, and other markers associated with Indians, but I am not in her matrilineal line.
