There are 9 unreadable Pither Wills (from Shinfield) on microfiche predating this Moses Pither. They are held at The Berkshire Record Office, Reading. I am not sure if they are in Latin or not. A professional researcher could transcribe them and fine the origin of the Pether, Pyther Pither family. It is possible they are Sephardic Jews from Spain who remained Christian. Pither + Perez, Perez = Faris.
