John DUNCOMBE was convicted for theft of cloth at the Old Bailey in October 1787. He was indicted for stealing on the 26th September last, two hundred and ten yards of everlasting, value, the property of Archibald Bryson, a dyer. The prisoner was taken by the watchman, who on suspecting him, confessed to the robbery no promises were made to him. Guilty - transported for seven years.
