Rabbi Moshe Charif and Rabbi Moshe Mordechai weren't the same person. the first was ABD in Kremenets and Lwow and the second was born in Poznan and rabbi in Vienna& Krakow.

You are correct that Rabbi Moshe Mordechai was rabbi in Krakow, but his father was R' Shmuel ABD of Posen, son of R' Moshe ABD of Posen, son of Yitzchok Issac ABD of Prague, son of Yaakov ABD of Nuremberg .
The last 2 mentioned are different from what is posted here on Geni.

There were two R' Moshe Charif and this Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Halevi Margolioth is not one of them!
