All I got so far is that he was the father of Alexander McDaniel’s wife.

I don’t think he was a chief.

Mythical person. I have never seen any mention of anyone by this name. Pretty much nothing is known about Mary Wilson for certain including her name. Her grandchildren said they didn’t know her name on their Eastern apps. James Hicks thought she was Cherokee, John Strange says she was white.
