Lampet Saunders was assigned to Cyrus Doyle at Sackville, where his eldest daughter Mildred, conceived soon after, retained both her Aboriginal kinship name and her personal totem, respectively Butha emu.

Information sent to me

Mildred Saunders' mother was an Aboriginal woman. Her mothers Kinship name is "Aechale Butha but white man named her" Leanne Craft". Leanne Craft is a Darkinung Tribe/Darug Tribe woman. Her language is "Darkinung" & her Totem is the same as Mildreds, "Emu". Leanne Craft gave birth to Mildred in 1835 when she was 12 years old.

I have received numerous messages asking for evidence of
* her name - Leanne Craft or Aechale Butha
* her birth details - 31 January 1823 Portland Head Rock
* her death details - 9 October 1848 Portland Head Rock
* her common law marriage on 1836

I have been unable to locate any information supporting this

A google search on "Aechale Butha" has zero results
A google search on "Leanne Craft" has no results matching to this family
