This profile goes to so far in history that it would be correct to have conversation before cutting the whole family without curators help.
So please lets have conversation here in english, as there are so many "descendants/followers" from different countries.

What is the reason that whole family is cut off around Niels Tokesen Saltensee af Tystofte
- sources?

Kristine Gummesdatter now she is left without husband and kids without father.

It would be nice to have curators opinion here.

Kind greetings, Saga

Ingvild Alme could you explain the reasons of cuts that you have made? Thank you.

I ask her the same yesterday by mail, no respons at all... One profile that was created 2007, has she replaced with a new copy, I can't understand what's going on here?

Oluf Glug

Que esta pasando que se reemplazan los perfiles y se realizan cortes

Margarita Olufsdatter
There has been changes to all these profiles, might be error of mixing two persons? Based on what sources? Lets investigate the sources; this is good example why it is not a good idea doing cuts to medieval trees without starting conversation and curators help.

Greve Ernst von Gleichen, IV he also lost a wife

Regitze (Rikiza) von Gleichen she lost a mother

and what else? There are many changes, lets investigate

Ingvild Alme please respond!

What are you doing?

Gyde Margarethe n.n she has been cutted of from husband and children. This is not ok to do all this without having discussion

There are now a total mess between Hvide family, many of them are not in bloodline relationship towards each other anymore after several cuts.

same happening to Saltensee-family Tyge I. Saltensee af Tystofte please curator advice needed

In Erfurt's cathedral, on the south wall, there is a tombstone depicting Count Ernst IV of Gleichen with two women, one of whom carries a crown of princes on his left.
The Counts of Gleichen, originally a powerful and wealthy race in Thuringia, were imperial bailiffs in Erfurt; her heraldic animal was a lion, as he can still be seen at the Lauentor. They were also guardians of St. Peter's and had a large courtyard in the Grafengasse.

Thank you Erica Howton I have written to Björn but he has not responsed yet, I am not sure if he is active at the moment or busy. The mess has continued crowing, there are so many cuts made that I have lost track at the moment. A bit frustrating to just see that happening.

Private User I would be glad to help but question my ability to work with the language correctly; I’m OK on names, but there are good profile notes to follow. If there are revisions to undo that can be identified from that tab, perhaps that would help also.

I know you would, thank you so much Erica <3 I totally understand. There are not many people on Danish area at the moment from Scandinavia. Lets hope we can solve this. Have a good week all and thanks for all!

Kind regards, Saga

I speak and write both danish, german and engish, if anything needs to be translated I would be happy to assist.
Kind regards, Kirsten

Private User and others I understand there is a mess, but I like to help, but I afread that asking others to cleanup the mess does not help. We need to work together.

I understand that Scandinavian curators totally are ignoring questions in English.

The discussion has switched from let discuss how to solve this. To why is nobody answering.

We are not ignoring questions in English, - we are just so tired of all problems in the danish lines where hunting for profile management instead of making things correct seem to be the big goal for many.

My mother tongue is finnish and I speak and write some other languages also.

In geni the best way to work is usually english, when there are several people from other cultures sharing same ancestors/interest. But I do not mind the language if people just participate :).

There are few possibilities to handle this.

There are several profiles that has been experienced cuts from parents, wifes, children - . after that the profile has been changed to almost unrecognizable.

Are there any "undo" button for curators to use? If we can show the places of changes made?

I noticed that there are some new duplicates made recently, maybe to repair these big sudden changes that has been done. So do we try to change back the old profiles or work with new ones?

And after making things ok, maybe to turn profiles to MP's, so this wont happen again.

In response of the question of Private User the data Curators have the tools to restore and lock the profiles, but then you must know what the correct situation. And the group of finnish speaking Curators is large. And it is sometimes better to explain your problem in your own language.

Personaly I first watch the questions in my own language and then I do the English questions.

I agree it is a mess and the more people that working on it the larger the mess will become. So I suggest that small workforce with knowledge will cleanup the mess.

I suggest that this workforce will use finnish or danish as worklanguage.

And if one curator will be in that workforce he or she can use the tools to lock the tree.

There is a need for a person who understands danish, so finnish is very far away from the whole language group. I am the only finn here in this specific discussion :)

Best thing would be that Geni reacts right away when the person making cuts is denounced, otherwise in cases like this we can only witness day by day chaos getting bigger in front of our eyes.

The person or curator who will correct these danish lines with help of curator, needs to be danish or scandinavian or specialist to Scandinavian/Danish medieval trees.

I'm going to let the vandals do their thing, when they get tired they will broke somethings else, then it's time to repair this messed up line, unfortunately, they are not quite finished yet so I'm still waiting.

@Ulf Some of the danish trees were a mess, after few bad merges, the mess is now bigger. Some people just merge one profile and they leave it like that, without cleaning the mess that it exists. Now there are several cases existing like that.
