Sometimes within the last month and with no notification from GENI, I have lost the ability to permanently delete any profile that I have personally created. When I try to permanently delete a deleted profile I suddenly get the "Error. You don't have permission to view this page" notification, and the profile that I try to delete stays on the deleted list. That was not happening up to a month ago.
What is going on?
Is this just a mistake, or is GENI taking the complete control over everything that was, and ever will be posted here? I should have the right to choose what information I am willing to share and keep.
If you can get to the list of his deleted profiles (https://www.geni.com/list/deleted), there are two possible action choices, one is to restore a profile and the other is to delete it permanently. Delete permanently used to work for me, but now I "don't have a permission". The question is who has the right to deny me deleting a profile that i have created?
I don't pay much attention to my deleted list. I see it goes back to 2010. I have undeleted profiles in the past, usually if someone else deleted profiles I manage, which is against the terms of service, by the way.
I have never used the delete permanently button and have no idea if it's been there for a long time or not. I think not since I don't remember it.
