The mystery of the diamond ring that was passed down to me by my mother, I believe, was this Sarah. Dated 1880, and inscribed inside is Sarah to Dan. A man's diamond ring. I cannot find any record of her marrying so I'm guessing the relationship didn't work out. Rather tragically for Sarah.
