Zachariah Nixon married Sarah Thomas - The Nixon of Texas Genealogy Book has a left a big gap to fill- I have Quaker Meeting notes for Zachariah up to a point, then nothing, not an exit, or excommunication or whatever they called it.
We know Sarah Thomas Nixon was of the Quaker religion or none of the Thomas Family were of Caswell, County NC- I believe Zachariah Nixon, may have married out of the Quaker religion-
The reason we can find no meeting notes of this marriage-
Their son - Robert Thomas Nixon was not of the Quaker religion we know by the time he came to Texas and he did not marry in the religion- we have a copy of his his marriage license- when he married Laura Ann Wood, not a Quaker-
