This profile was wrongfully managed by David John Eyre who is the son of John Edward Eyre my father Sidney William Carter Eyre younger brother but I don't know who Sheila Gordon is or how shes related this family tree David was around 9 or 10 when his father John Eyre died and was brought up on his mother's side (Peterson)

I have sent messages to David John Eyre before, when I found errors in profiles added by him, but he has never replied. My interest in the Eyres is as a result of building 'down' the tree from my husband's 2xgt grandfather, Edward John Eyre (1815-1901). I claim no ownership/proprietory interest and would welcome input from more knowledgeable family members.

David Eyre was onsite for only 4 days, some years ago. That is why you aren't hearing back from him.

I guessed as much, Anne Brannen. In such a case what is the accepted procedure - delete profiles of apparently non-existent people, or cut them loose to float 'in limbo'?

If you have evidence for the other connections, yes, detach and let them float. At this place in the tree, they probably existed but belong elsewhere.

Ormond Eyre - if this is your relative, within 4th cousin or 3rd great grandparent, you can add yourself as a Manager (Actions to Manager Options).

By "Wrongfully managed", did you mean wrong information was being entered, or ???
