Adding profiles to a project

I have tried several times to add two profiles with no success. I can use the search for "popular profiles" and both names appear there or I can use the search people box at the top and both names appear, however when I use the search box on the project page it is unable to fin them.

I've sent requests to you to make them Master Profiles. We'll add them after you approve.

Thank you, I didn't see anything that was preventing their addition and was not aware of a need for them to be master profiles.
