Many of us are descended from same. I think the "public discussions" on Geni.com were originally meant for discussing the available sources in an attempt to clarify the facts on the profiles so the lines can be cleaned up. That's why I've subscribed to receive emails about them. If all of us were to use these discussions to tell everyone about our relationship to these individuals, we'd all end up with a ton of emails to wade through that are of no use relative to that purpose.
