Who was his parents? I believe his father was John MacVarlo/MakFarlane? from Arrochar, Loch Long, Argyle, Scotland. Born about 1547. His uncle may have been Black Duncan Mischief MacFarlane. I cannot identify his mother. Thank you
He may have been one of the MacFarlane clan punished on the unity prison ship and then migrated as the first known MacFarlane in the US.
