In my original pre-internet research, I had Jesse Allen and Tabitha Hess Allen as the parents of Eliza Jentie "Gerty" Allen Underwood. Jesse's line leads to Eleazor Eli Allen and his parents Squire Eleazor Allen and Martha "Tilda" Snow Allen aka Raven Canoe and Raven Snow Canoe (titled as a Moytoy whichis a matrilinealname given; it means RainMaker)
That was a native American line.
Joseph and Mary Ann Childers Allen- There aren't any parents or siblings found for him though his wife has an easily traceable line.
I honestly do not know the true parents of my gggrandmother. I am a DNA match for both ALLEN lines, the Childers and Snow surname.
I would like to solve this once an for all.
