My first cousin, Carroll Lancaster, 9th great-grandson of Samuel Trigg, spent years of research with my Aunt Mary Nixon Rogers, but he went beyond her research and has remarkable reference material. Before Carroll Lancaster's death in 2015, he was in contact with my cousin Weldon Burke Cabaniss and we are fortunate he shared this fabulous in depth work. It is the best research material I've come across for the Trigg lineage, he makes sense of all of the published books. I will carefully upload all relevant material to each and every era it ends with our parents. Suzan Martin

Source : Cavaliers and Pioneers, Abstract of Virginia Land Patents and Grants. Look at him on Trigg’s page 254 and at page references 25, 107, 124 (and following) in the underlined book above. This is the same person on my enclosed chart 3 who married ELLINOR. He obviously owned land in James City County, VA. He had a brother William. The new source starts on page 255 is mostly on Paul and William.
