Yes, as a matter of fact, I am related to her father, Samuel Lawrence Hensley. He used to frequent Hobby Robinson's Store in Elkton, VA, and my father's cousin, Mary E. Baugher, a Mennonite childcare provider I was very close to in Harrisonburg, VA, used to babysit her. Mary stayed in contact with her and her family. She and her brother used to tell me countless stories of there experiences with Patsy and her husbands.
Samuel's father was Solomon Job Hensley. Solomon''s father was Benjamin Hensley, who was married to Rebecca Breeden Hensley. Benjamin Jr. was the son of Ellen "Nellie" Meadows Hensley. Benjamin Sr. was the father of Lucinda Hensley, who married her cousin, William Hensley, the son of James Hensley. William and Lucinda are my ancestors. The mother of Benjamin and James was Mary Hensley. Inasmuch as one was born in 1780 and one was born in 1790, one would have to assume there were other children, alive, deceased, or stillborn, in between. James Meadows, Nellie's father, born circa 1760, was a Revolutionary War Veteran according to four affidavits he gave for Revolutionary War pensions.
