We are looking for our cousins. Thomas Osborne Sr. b. 1594/5 married Mary Goatley. He came from Ashford, Kent, England with his wife and 5 sons. His children were: Thomas, Jeremiah (Jeremy), Richard, John, Stephen, Joseph, Rebecca, Increase, and Benjamin. Richard died at the age of 6 months old in England. Rebecca, Increase, and Benjamin were born in the United States. I just met a member of the descendants of Thomas Osborn Jr., I know a lot of the descendants of the son John, and I descend from Stephen. I have not met any of Joseph, or Benjamin's descendants. If you KNOW OF A BOOK about the descendants of Thomas Osborne Jr., I would appreciate it if you would let me know. There is a group on face book called Osborn/e....One Hell of a Name! IF you are an Osborn/e or were married to one they will accept you. It is all about family and finding other members of the family. The researchers on the line of Stephen Osborne b. 1634 married to Sarah Stansborough are: 1. Wayne L. Osborne, Kay Osborn, James M. Osborne, Evelyn Claypool Bracken, Pat Olmsteadt, Dr. Rev. Marietta Mansfield, and Dr. Harold Osborn. Evelyn Claypool Bracken wrote 6 volumes of the books "Claypool", and "Claypools in America". Dr. Harold Osborn wrote the Osborn Oracles. Wayne has a web page, Dr. Marietta has done a lot of research, Pat Osborn Olmsteadt wrote a book called the Descendant of John Combest. James Osborne is in the process of writing a book and should go into publication in about 6 months. His book will take the entire family back into the 1100-1200's. The book "Early Osbornes and Alleys", is written by Rita Sutton. It covers some of the descendants of the brother John Osborn b. 1631 and his wife Mariam Rebecca Hand. The book is out of print, but obtainable through some universities and libraries, the Mormon research center has it on micro-film. Another brother by the name of Joseph b. 1636 married to Pricilla Roberts. They had a daughter Pricilla Osborn who married Captain John Corry.
